Contrary to what mainstream health believes, acid reflux and heartburn etc is more likely to be a result of low stomach acid, not too much stomach acid. I bet you were told different, right?
Anyway, here are my top tips to support stomach acid production!
Mitigate stress as much as possible
Prepare to eat: slow down and take a few breaths before eating
Eat slow and chew food until it is liquid, before swallowing
Don't become distracted during meal times
eat sufficient animal protein
eat a variety of nutritionally dense, bioavailable foods
Add sea salt to food
Ginger, lemon and apple cider vinegar can help to stimulate stomach acid
Definitely not an exhaustive list, but a great place to start!
