Cat mama of one, foodie, travel wanderer, and health enthusiast. As someone who has battled health issues, I wanted to turn my struggles into purpose. Through my teens and early adult life, I knew where I was going wrong because my body was telling me, but I still couldn't figure out the right direction! Isn't there so much information out there? Conflicting fear-mongering information? We don't have any of that around here.

 I struggled for many years with my mental and physical health including depression, anxiety, fatigue, aching joints acne on my back, ovarian cyst, heavy periods, and general hormone imbalances, as well as bloating, acid reflux, constipation, hair falling out, and a trashed thyroid, with no successful help from the allopathic medical system, so I get it. I was once where you are now. Plagued with symptoms, and totally exhausted.

Hey, I'm Sian Elizabeth

Having lost my mum to breast cancer when she was just 37 years young, I came to a point where I realised that did not need to happen. In my 20s, I found a moment of strength amongst the depression, to start learning. This lit a fire inside me.

 

But, where I ended up was in the depths of diet culture. It felt good, at first. It was a stark difference to what food I had consumed my entire life, and yes I started to see improvements. But I was going it alone, without any proper advice from anyone trained in nutrition, coaching techniques etc. I thought I was on the right track but in hindsight I had been consuming foods that initially did what they needed to do, but I needed to then build my body up to build a robust foundation. I was consuming foods that my digestive system just could not tolerate. But reality was, my lack of direction would eventually start to downgrade my health, which led to a ton more anxiety, my gut getting worse, huge hormonal imbalances, and eventually, emergency surgery that saved my life.

I wasted countless hours searching the Internet, and way too much money purchasing quick fixes that promised to fix me, that either did nothing, or, didn't last.
